Guts Group Collaborates with Pathumwan Institute of Technology and the Federation of Thai Industries to Draft a Master's Degree Program in Security

On October 22, 2024, Dr. Vallop Kingchanchai, Chairman of Guts Investigation Co., Ltd., and Chief Advisor of the Asia-Pacific Security Association (APSA), along with General Siripong Wongkhantee, Chief Advisor of Guts Group, Mr. Nakarn Kingchanchai, Deputy Managing Director, and Ms. Chadah Kingchanchai, General Manager of the Training Division and Senior Executive, welcomed a delegation to discuss and plan a draft bachelor's degree program in security together.

The delegation consisted of 12 representatives from two organizations:

Pathumwan Institute of Technology:

  1. Assistant Professor Dr. Wachiraporn Permpoonsinsap, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology
  2. Dr. Jittraporn Nangthin, Deputy Rector of Pathumwan Institute of Technology
  3. Associate Professor Dr. Santi Wangnippanto, Director of the Language and Computer Center
  4. Assistant Professor Dr. Thanyathat Wipattipoomprathet, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Academic and Research Division
  5. Along with a total of 9 members

Federation of Thai Industries:

  1. Mr. Thaworn Chalassathien, Vice President of the Federation of Thai Industries
  2. Mr. Rungreung Saipawan, Director of the Human Capacity Building Institute, FTI
  3. Mr. Chaowarin Machuay, Head of the Human Capacity Building Institute, FTI

During the meeting, Dr. Vallop Kingchanchai provided an overview of the security industry, including the bachelor's degree program at Rattana Bundit University and the master's program in Police Science at the Royal Police Cadet Academy, which have been previously developed in collaboration. Ms. Chadah Kingchanchai presented an overview of Guts Group's business operations, followed by a presentation on security technology by Mr. Viboon Yoopanya, Director of Security System Development.

The delegation was then taken on a tour to observe the operations of the 24-hour Guts IOC Emergency Monitoring and Reporting Center. Finally, they visited the Guts Store House training ground to witness a simulated incident response demonstration using forked batons and Guts batons, conducted by the Guts Security Training Academy.
