Security Development Training Course

Various 10 security training courses to enhance the knowledge and expertise of trainees are available by more than 50 experienced instructors from both government and private sectors. the traning could be arranged at GUTS Training Centers or at client's.

There are 10 Training courses for Security Development 

1.Security Course: Supervisor Level.

Training topics (24 hours):

  1. Roles and duties of leaders.
  2. Leadership techniques.
  3. Security management in agencies.
  4. Security knowledge in the area of responsibility and report writing.
  5. The use of tools and techniques in security systems.
  6. Person and vehicle observation techniques.
  7. Crime Prevention and Initial Incident Response.
  8. Fire Protection and suppression.
  9. Self-defense Techniques.

2.Security Course: Trainer Level.

Training topics (40 hours):

  1. Principles of Leadership.
  2. Ethics of Teaching.
  3. Moral and Ethical Standards.
  4. Basic Knowledge of Security Business.
  5. Relevant Laws Concerning Security.
  6. Fundamental Security.
  7. Report Writing.
  8. Emergency Preparedness and Response.
  9. Communication Skills.
  10. Principles of use of force.
  11. Basic First Aid.
  12. Traffic Management.
  13. Field Training.
  14. Training as an Instructor.

3.Basic EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Course.

Training Topics:

  1. Definition of Explosive Ordnance.
  2. Guidelines for Business Owners and Employees to Inspect and Report Suspicious Activities or Incidents of Terrorism.
  3. Suspect Identification Procedures.
  4. Inspecting Suspected Areas/Outdoor and Indoor Locations/ Vehicle Searches.
  5. Procedures Upon Discovery of Suspicious Items, Explosive Devices, Bomb Threats, and After an Explosion.
  6. Security Maintenance Measures.

4.Security Vocational Training School at Na Vallop.

Certified by the Office of the Private Education Commission (OPEC), Ministry of Education Granted as the first institution under the Ministry of Education's Non-Formal Education category to commence teaching on September 30, 2539 (1996).

  1. Full Security Training Course: (192 hours)
  2. Leadership Level Security Course: (24 hours)
  3. Security Training Course: (32 hours)

5.Basic First Aid Course.

Training Topics (6 hours):

  1. Meaning and objectives of first aid.
  2. Principles of first aid practice.
  3. Bleeding control.
  4. First aid for bruises and bleeding wounds.
  5. First aid for lacerations and puncture wounds.
  6. First aid for unconsciousness due to faint. 
    • Rescue for unconsciousness due to faint.
    • Rescue for unconsciousness due to shock.
    • Rescue for unconsciousness due to seizures.
    • Rescue for poisoning or exposure to various chemicals.
    • Rescue for injuries from various accidents and different types of splint.
  7. Principles of first aid for burns and scalds.
  8. First aid for foreign objects entering the body.
  9. First aid for venomous bites.
  10. Correct principles of moving injured patients.
  11. Correct use of wound bandage or gauze for proper first aid.
  12. Basic life support and the use of automated external defibrillator (AED) for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

6.Basic Knowledge of CCTV Course.

Training Topics (Theory 1 hour | Practical 2 hours):

  1. History of CCTV systems.
  2. Benefits of CCTV systems.
  3. Key components of CCTV systems.
  4. Types of CCTV camera signals.
  5. Differences between analog and digital (IP) cameras.
  6. Types of CCTV camera installations.
  7. Steps for using a CCTV system.
  8. Examples of CCTV system usage.
  9. Basic testing of CCTV systems.
  10. Basic troubleshooting techniques for CCTV cameras.

7.Skill Standards Course for Professionals : Security Level 1.

8.Hazmat First Response Pre-Awareness Level Course.

Training Topics (12 hours):

  • Roles in Handling Chemicals and Hazardous Substances as First Responders at the Awareness Level.
  • Physical Characteristics, Toxicology, Hazard Recognition Techniques, Data Collection, and Hazard Interpretation for Chemical Handlers at the Awareness Level.
  • Personal Protective Equipment and Respiratory Protection Systems.
  • Operational Standards for Chemical Handlers at the Awareness Level.
  • Communication for First Response of Chemical Handlers at the Awareness Level.
  • Containment, Confinement, and Decontamination for Chemical Handlers at the Awareness Level.
  • Related Applications for Chemical Handlers at the Awareness Level Who Respond at the Awareness Level.

Practical Section: Subject Areas

  • Review of Hose Use and Nozzle Operation.
  • Simulation of LPG Gas Leakage Situation.

  • Data Protected under the Law.
  • General Personal Data.
  • Sensitive Personal Data.
  • Individuals Responsible for Personal Data.
  • Rights of Data Owners.
  • Precautions for Employee Practices.
  • Ensuring Security under PDPA.
  • Responsibilities and Penalties.

This course offers both theoretical and practical training. Upon completion, participants will receive individual certificates.
